I’m Back, Video-Games up next

The title says it all. I'm back. Expect at least one post every 48 hours, and for the next week or two, I'll be discussing video-games. I think the plan is to hit the two big topics first: violence and gender, and then I'll devote some time to MMORPG's, file-sharing, the question of whether or not video-games are art, a couple game reviews, and any other issues that occur to me in the next week or so. To start things off, I've posted some video-game related links I feel are worthwhile.

There's a debate between some atheist academics and some typical born again creationists that is being held by the skeptic society in my current province in a few days.I just got an email from a colleague urging me and other members of our department not to attend this event.

Update: Going through a move, taking a bit longer then I thought it would.  Be back posting soon. 

I'm going to be away for the next week, so there won't be any new posts for the next week or so. When I get back I'm gonna start a series of posts on video games, looking at the impact they've had, and could have, on our culture, and as an emerging artform, and I'll throw some reviews of games in there for good measure. Hope to see some of you then.
